The New York production of the long-running international hit SHEAR MADNESS began previews at New World Stages Theatre 4 on October 22, 2015, and opened November 11. It played there until July 10, 2016, after which it immediately moved to the Davenport Theatre on W. 45th St., where it ran from July 15, 2016-April 23, 2017. Shear Madness played 602 performances and 23 previews. The production was nominated for a 2016 Off Broadway Alliance Award, Best Unique Theatrical Experience.
