I'm agog with the news that ELINOR DONAHUE will be playing Mrs. Chumley in Judson Theatre Company's HARVEY! My NC friends know her as Andy's girlfriend Ellie on "The Andy Griffith Show", and Elinor is truly a TV icon: Emmy nom as Betty on "Father Knows Best" & other series regular roles like Miriam on "The Odd Couple" (Felix's girlfriend), Rebecca on "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" (Dr. Quinn's sister) and even Chris Elliot's mom on "Get a Life". From "Star Trek" to "The Golden Girls" to "Friends" to "Cold Case", she's guested on practically every beloved TV show. On the big screen, her work spans from movies with Margaret O'Brien and Elizabeth Taylor in the 1940s and 50s to "Pretty Woman" and "Princess Diaries 2".
